No, the streets are city owned and maintained. If you have a problem, contact the Overland Park Streets Dept.
Who is responsible for repair/replacement of mailboxes?
The homeowners are.
Who is responsible for maintenance of trees, grass, etc which is on the city’s easement?
The City has an easement for several feet of property along each street, but it is the responsibility of the individual homeowner for maintenance and replacement of the lawn, any trees adjacent to their property. The HOA is responsible for the common areas described below:

The monument landscape and the center berm at the entrance on 157th St from Antioch Rd.

The circle one the mini cul-de-sac on 157th St between Lowell Avenue and Antioch Rd.

Do I need to request approval from the Homes Association Architectural Committee when I want to change the paint colors on my home’s exterior?
Yes, any change in exterior and trim color must be approved by the Architectural Committee
Do I need to request approval from the Homes Association Architectural Committee before fencing my property?

Can I operate a business from my home?
That depends, if your business in only a home office and does not result in customers coming to your home, it is OK. A business such as a Day Care Center or any other business which brings customers to your home is prohibited.
Can I park overnight on the street?
Consistent overnight parking is not allowed, however occasional guests may park on the street.
